Shala Darpan Official Website — Correct URL
The only official Shala Darpan portal is at rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in. Many copycat sites exist, so checking the domain before entering any login details is important. This page explains what the real site looks like, how to verify it, and what to do if you have already used a fake one.

rajasthan.gov.in
The correct URL to use
The official Shala Darpan address is https://rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in/. Type it directly into your browser's address bar, or bookmark it after your first visit. One address covers the school login, staff window, citizen window, and links to other Rajasthan education portals.
Tip: type rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in yourself, or bookmark it after visiting once. A Google search is fine, but always check the domain in the address bar before you enter any user ID or password.
How to confirm a site is official
Before you enter login details on any page, run through this checklist:
- Check the domain. The address must end in
rajasthan.gov.in. Official government portals in India use.gov.indomains, and Shala Darpan specifically uses the Rajasthan state domain. If the domain ends in.com,.in,.org,.net, or any variation that is not.rajasthan.gov.in, it is not the official site. - Look at the footer. The real portal says it is designed by NIC, Rajasthan, and that data is provided by the Rajasthan Council of School Education. If the footer is missing, says a different organization, or looks sloppy, that is a red flag.
- Check for a language toggle. The official portal has a Hindi/English language switch and a screen reader option. Fake sites often skip these features.
- Watch what the login asks for. The real Shala Darpan login asks for a User ID and password only. It does not ask for payment, card details, OTP sharing, Aadhaar number, or anything else. If a page asks for payment to log in, it is fake.
- Look for the padlock icon. The official site uses HTTPS. Your browser should show a padlock icon next to the URL. While HTTPS alone does not prove a site is official (many fake sites also use HTTPS), the absence of it is a warning sign.
- Check the page title and logo. The official portal's page title says "Integrated ShalaDarpan" at the top. The logo and design are consistent and professional. Fake sites often have blurry logos, different page titles, or ads plastered across the screen.
What the official portal looks like
When you land on the real Shala Darpan site, you will see:
- A clean header with the "Integrated ShalaDarpan" name and the Rajasthan government logo.
- A Hindi/English language toggle near the top of the page.
- Login boxes for different user types: School, Staff, and Citizen.
- No pop-up ads, no download buttons, and no "click here to check results" banners that link to external sites.
- A footer with NIC Rajasthan credit and links to other Rajasthan government portals.
- A relatively simple design. Government sites tend to be functional rather than flashy. If a site looks overly polished, uses heavy animations, or feels like a marketing landing page, it is probably not the real one.
Common fake websites and how to spot them
Search results for "Shala Darpan" are full of third-party guide sites, PDF download pages, and blogs that sometimes use the word "official" in their titles or descriptions. Here is how to tell them apart from the real thing:
- Wrong domain. A site ending in
.com,.in(withoutrajasthan.gov.in),.org, or.netis not the portal. Even if it offers login links, download buttons, or result-checking tools, it is a third-party site. Many of these sites exist to show ads or collect your data. - Payment requests. Logging into Shala Darpan is free. No government portal charges for access. If a site asks for money to check results, download an admit card, or access any feature, it is a scam.
- Promises of guaranteed results or approvals. Sites that promise Google ranking, AdSense approval, or any kind of "guaranteed" service are marketing operations, not government portals.
- Excessive ads. The official Shala Darpan portal does not show third-party advertisements. If a page is full of pop-ups, banner ads, or redirects, it is not the real site.
- Requests for sensitive information. The official login only needs a User ID and password. If a site asks for your Aadhaar number, bank details, credit card, or OTP, it is trying to steal your information.
- No HTTPS or a suspicious certificate. If your browser warns you that the site's security certificate is invalid, do not proceed. Close the tab.
- Misspelled or altered names. Some fake sites use names like "ShalaDarpan Portal," "Shala Darpan Login," or "Raj Shala Darpan Official" on domains that are clearly not government-owned. Read the URL carefully.
Shala Darpan Guide itself is a third-party site. That is why every page here says clearly that we are not the official website. We provide reference information only.
Security tips for safe browsing
These steps help you avoid fake sites and protect your login details:
- Bookmark the official URL. After visiting rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in once, save it as a bookmark. Use the bookmark next time instead of searching Google. This removes the risk of clicking a fake link in search results.
- Do not click login links from WhatsApp or SMS messages. Fake links often spread through group messages and text messages. If someone sends you a "Shala Darpan result" link, do not click it. Go to the official site yourself through your bookmark or by typing the URL.
- Check the URL before every login. Before you type your password, glance at the address bar. Make sure the domain is exactly
rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in. Some fake sites use subdomains or similar-looking characters (for example,rajshaladarpan-rajasthan.gov.in.fake-site.com). - Use a password manager. Password managers auto-fill your credentials only on the correct domain. If you try to log in on a fake site, the password manager will not auto-fill, which is a useful warning sign.
- Keep your browser updated. Modern browsers flag known phishing sites and show warnings. Do not ignore these warnings.
- Do not save passwords in your browser on shared computers. If you use a computer at a cyber cafe or school, use incognito or private browsing mode. Log out when you are done.
- Check for HTTPS. The padlock icon in the address bar means the connection is encrypted. While this alone does not prove a site is genuine, the absence of HTTPS should make you suspicious.
What to do if you entered credentials on a fake site
If you realize you entered your Shala Darpan User ID or password on a fake website, act quickly:
- Go to the real portal immediately. Open rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in and log in with your real credentials. Change your password right away. Pick a password you have not used elsewhere.
- Check for unauthorized activity. After changing your password, look through your account for any changes you did not make. Check for modified personal details, new entries, or any activity that looks wrong.
- Report it to your school or block office. If you are a school staff member, inform your school administrator or the block resource center. They may need to reset your account from the administrative side.
- Report it to the Rajasthan cyber cell. You can file a complaint at the Rajasthan Police cyber crime portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or call the national cyber crime helpline at 1930. Include the fake website URL, the date and time you used it, and any screenshots you have.
- Change passwords on other sites if you reused the same one. Many people use the same password across multiple sites. If you used your Shala Darpan password elsewhere, change those too.
- Watch for phishing follow-ups. After you interact with a fake site, you may receive emails or messages pretending to be from "Shala Darpan" asking for more information. Do not respond. The official portal does not send unsolicited emails asking for login details.
How to report fake websites
Reporting fake sites helps protect other users. Here is what you can do:
- Report to the Rajasthan government. Contact the NIC Rajasthan team through the official portal's contact page or email. Send them the fake URL and a brief description of what the site does.
- File a cyber crime complaint. Visit cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930. Provide the fake website address, screenshots, and any messages or emails that led you to the site.
- Report to Google. If you found the fake site through Google Search, use Google's Safe Browsing report form to flag it. This helps Google add warning labels to the site in search results.
- Report to your browser. Browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Edge have built-in phishing report tools. Use them to flag the site so other users get a warning.
- Warn others. If you are part of a school staff group or parent group, share what happened and explain how to identify the real site. The more people know, the fewer fall for the same trick.
Other official sites that mirror results
Class 5th and 8th results are published on more than one government-owned site. All of these are official:
| Site | Purpose |
|---|---|
| rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in | Main Shala Darpan portal (logins, citizen window, results) |
| rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in | Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) result announcements |
| rajresults.nic.in | Rajasthan government result publishing site |
| rajpsp.nic.in | Raj PSP, a private school platform that also hosts shared 5th/8th result pages |
Always match the domain before trusting a result page. We explain the result check process on our results guide.
Common misspellings that still reach the same portal
People search for and type Shala Darpan in many ways: shaladarpan, shaladaarpan, raj shala darpan, shala darpan rajasthan login, or simply sala darpan. The browser may auto-correct some of these, but the target address is always the same official domain listed above. No matter how you spell it in a search, make sure the site you click on ends in rajasthan.gov.in.
A note about third-party guide sites
You will find many websites offering Shala Darpan guides, login help, and result-checking tools. Some are genuinely useful. Others are full of ads and outdated information. The key difference: none of these sites can log you into Shala Darpan or access your account. Only the official portal at rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in can do that. Any site that claims otherwise is misleading you.
