Editorial Policy
How we decide what goes on this site and how we keep it honest.
Our one rule
Never invent. Every guide on Shala Darpan Guide is grounded in what the official portal, department sites and government announcements actually show. If we are not sure, we say so, or we leave it out.
Sourcing
- Primary sources are the official pages: rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in, rajresults.nic.in, rajpsp.nic.in, and government circulars/notices.
- Portal wording (like "Student NIC ID | Mobile No. | Jan Aadhaar No") is quoted as it appears.
- No statistics, dates or scheme details are stated beyond those evidenced, and time-sensitive facts always point back to the official place.
Writing
- Plain steps, short sentences, at school-kitchen-table clarity.
- Hindi and English guidance carry the same standards; Hindi pages are checked for natural language.
- We explain, never imitate. Pages deliberately do not look like the official portal.
Safety and fraud
Content that could help fraud — impersonation, credential handling, bypassing checks — is refused. We actively warn readers about fake sites and OTP/payment scams. See official website guide and updates guide.
Corrections
- Errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed, and the page's date is updated.
- Anyone can report a correction through the contact page.
- Readers are told how to verify with official sources rather than being asked to take our word.
Review and updates
Pages are re-checked when the portal changes. Changes to login flows, result pages and scheme windows trigger a review of the affected guide. Each page carries its last-review date.
Commercial content
We may use advertising (such as Google AdSense) for site running costs. Advertising never changes editorial content: we do not write guides to please advertisers, and ads are clearly separate. Affiliate or sponsored material, if ever introduced, will always be labelled.
